Discover My Ministry | Session 2 | COG University

Why Does Ministry Matter?

Pastor Joel explores why every believer should care about ministry. Scripture reminds us that we were created, saved, called, gifted, and equipped for ministry—not just pastors or church leaders, but every follower of Christ, wherever God has placed them.  Romans 14 reminds us that each person will one day give an account to God for how they lived. Pastor Joel challenges us to make our lives count by using the time we have—the “dash” between our birth and death—to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and reflect God wherever we go.  Don’t waste the dash. Discover your purpose, use your gifts, and make your life count for God’s Kingdom.
