God Prepares Us | Building a Gospel-Shaped Church | Week 2

In this sermon, Pastor Joel Bundick begins a new series called "Blueprint" focused on 1 Timothy, examining how to be a gospel-shaped church that pushes back against darkness. 

What's remarkable is that Christ judged Saul "faithful" or "trustworthy" for service. How could this violent opponent be trustworthy? Because God had been preparing him all along.

"God prepares people for the callings, the calling that he has for them in life. He prepares us. Paul was prepared by God for a specific task to take the gospel to the nations."

This is true in my life too. Those years I spent coaching football in West Texas weren't wasted—God was preparing me to speak publicly, to inspire people, just using a different playbook. And God has been preparing you too, for the good works He has set aside for you.
