Matthew | The Ask Principle | Week 21

In Matthew 7:7-12,  Pastor Joel walks his congregation through what he calls "the ask principle" and the golden rule, two of the most powerful teachings in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount. He reminds us that God invites us to ask, seek, and knock persistently in prayer — not as a blank check for every wish, but as children coming to a good Father who only knows how to give good gifts. Just as God treats us with grace and generosity, Jesus calls us to do the same for others, because the golden rule sums up the whole of scripture.
